Summer Intensives Dance Intensive
Classes are offered in ballet, pointe, variation (classical and Ballet Magnificat! repertoire), pas de deux, modern, improvisation and creative worship. In addition, the schedule includes daily chapel and small group discipleship. All instruction is conducted by members of Ballet Magnificat!'s professional touring companies and staff. Classes are taught by members of the Ballet Magnificat! Touring Companies under the direction of Artistic Director Kathy Thibodeaux. This workshop is open to students eight years of age or older with at least one year of dance training. Classes are offered in ballet technique, pointe, variations, modern, jazz, conditioning, and creative worship. Daily chapel services are held for all participants. A 50-student minimum is required. Bringing
excitement and purpose to the summers of hundreds of students annually. The
training, both spiritual and technical, seeks to guide young people to
develop their potential and seek God's direction for their lives. 
Each year teachers from across the country come to our workshop for training and development classes with our ministry professionals. Open to all dance teachers ages 18 and up, our format provides an opportunity for teachers from a wide variety of backgrounds to come together with other teachers to learn, be refreshed in the Lord and share ideas.
New to Ballet Magnificat this year- this workshop
offers instruction for dancers and dance teams who may not have a strong
classical background but minister through dance. This workshop
will provide inspiration for dance ministers ages 18 and up.
While on tour around the country
and abroad, both touring companies of Ballet Magnificat conduct Mini Workshops in their performance areas. These workshops are shortened versions of Ballet Magnificat!'s month-long Summer Intensive Workshop which is held annually in July.
