WHAT'S NEW

Message from Jiri and Cassandra
Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year to all the friends of Ballet Magnificat! from Jiri and Cassandra Voborsky. We hope this greeting finds you in perfect peace and full of joy this holiday season.

After an overwhelming trial of our lives, in losing our three-month old daughter, we didn’t expect to be sending out a Christmas letter this year. We are moved to tell, however, of God’s faithfulness and peace to our family.

In the midst of our pain, we were overwhelmed with the love of our Lord Jesus. Each day He shows us that He is sufficient and His perfect ways are to be trusted. In the midst of our sorrow we have gained a new prospective of this life and of eternity, and our hearts are fixed upon our true home which is in heaven (where the most beautiful little girl has already arrived and is perfectly fulfilled in Jesus’ presence). “Where your treasure is your heart will be also” (Matthew 6:21). As a testimony to God’s healing power, we can thankfully say, He is turning our mourning into dancing.

Besides the goodness of the Lord, we were so touched by the outpouring of support, cards, calls, meals, money, and prayers of hundreds. We have thanked the Lord for using each one of you to bring comfort and love.

All this to say, Jesus is faithful to meet our every need and to remind us that this temporary life is only a preparation of what is yet to come. Those who believe in Christ have quite an inheritance awaiting them. If you are not one of those who know Him, we urge you to seek the great love of Jesus who saves us from our sin.

Oh yes,- we are pleased to share that we are pregnant once again. The Lord has humbled us with this huge blessing! Praise to our all powerful Creator!

May the Lord bless all of you with the knowledge of the depth of His love and the riches of His kindness this Christmas season.

We love each and every one of you,

Jiri, Cassandra, and Benjamin

“What-e’er my God ordains is right;
Here shall my stand be taken;
Though sorrow, need, or death be mine,
Yet I am not forsaken.
My Father’s care is round me there;
He holds me that I shall not fall;
And so to Him I leave it all.”
