JULIA FRITZ                                                                                School Secretary

Julia received an A.A. degree in Forestry and a B.S. degree in Wildlife Resources from West Virginia University, Morgantown, WV.  Since that time she worked on a research vessel doing benthic studies and population surveys for the Maryland Department of Natural Resources, in a commercial greenhouse business, in an analytical chemistry lab, and as a conservation planner and Soil Conservation District Manager for the Maryland Department of Agriculture.  After 13 years as a Maryland state employee, Julia began a new and rewarding career of home schooling her daughter, Marleigh, until her graduation in 2006.  During this time, Julia worked as a church secretary, regional administrative assistant for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and administrative assistant for a non-profit, single parent ministry, Agape Project.

Julia’s “career” as a dance mom started in 1993 with Marleigh’s first ballet classes.  The Fritz family moved from Maryland to Mississippi in 2004. Julia’s direct association with Ballet Magnificat! began as Marleigh enrolled in the School of the Arts. Volunteer office work, including preparation and maintenance of the Summer Dance Intensive applications, led to her current position as School of the Arts Administrative Assistant.

Julia and her husband, Bill, are blessed with two daughters, Jessica and Marleigh.
