HANNAH BEAVER Choreographer Hannah grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. At age seven, she began her formal dance training in ballet, jazz, modern and tap. Beginning in 1992, Hannah was a member of The Pittsburgh Cecchetti Ballet Company for six seasons. Upon high school graduation, Hannah was accepted into Ballet Magnificat’s Professional Training Division, where she studied under the direction of Richard and Rose Faucher, as well as Lauri Worrill Biggs. In August of 1999, Hannah accepted the position of apprentice with the company. One year later, she became a member of the tour company. In the spring of 1998, Hannah premiered as a choreographer for the company. The movement “Anybody Out There” appears in the contemporary work, “Basic Instructions”. Hannah was privileged to introduce her first complete contemporary work “Selah” in the spring of 2003, and later choreographed a piece for the Trainee Program entitled "Real Life". Hannah married Phillip Beaver, Ballet Magnificat! tour director, on December 11, 2004. |
