TRACEY THOMPSON
Ballet Magnificat! School of the Arts and Trainee Program Faculty - Ballet Technique, Discipleship & Bible, Rehearsals

Tracey studied under some of ballet’s greatest teachers, including Thalia Mara, Mary Hepner, and Jozia Mieszkowski. She danced with the Jackson Ballet (soloist), Mississippi Ballet Theatre (principal), Wilkes-Barre Ballet Theatre (principal), and Rejoice Dance Theatre. Her teaching experience covers all levels, from children to college and company classes. She served as Assistant Director and Head of the Children’s Division of the prestigious Wilkes-Barre Ballet Theatre, Wilkes-Barre, PA, and Director of Rejoice Dance Theatre, Chattanooga, TN. Tracey has also been a faculty member for Mississippi Ballet Theatre, King’s College, Mississippi Gulf Coast Youth Ballet, and Laurel Ballet Guild. As further qualification, she has an Associate Degree in Elementary Education and is a trained Precept Christian Bible Study Leader. Tracey joined the staff of Ballet Magnificat! in the fall of 2002. She serves as a teacher in the School of the Arts Upper School and Trainee Program. She also is a Discipleship teacher in the Trainee program. Tracey and husband Kevin have three sons, Stephen, Evan and Will, and they own the popular restaurant, The Trace Grill, in Ridgeland, MS.
