Daniel Ranck, from Weyers Cave, Virginia, started dancing at age 8. He danced for 10 years under the instruction of Susan Muterspaugh at Ballet Extension in Bridgewater, VA. During that period he danced the lead roles of "Nutcracker" and "Cavalier" in "The Nutcracker", "Franz" in "coppelia", and "Colas" in "La Fille Mal Gardee". In summer of 2012, he attended American Ballet Theatre's summer dance intensive in North Carolina under the instruction of Ted Kiritt, Robert La Fosse, and Colleen O'Callaghan. In 2013, he attended Ballet Magnificat's Summer Dance Intensive. He moved to Jackson in August 2013 to become a trainee with Ballet Magnificat! He was promoted to Student Apprentice with Ballet Magnificat! Omega in August 2014 and Company Member in August of 2015.
