Maggie Morris

Alpha Company Artist

Maggie grew up in Reston, Virginia, and started dancing at age 3.  She began her pre-professional ballet training at age 12 with Classical Ballet Academy in Herndon, Virginia.  During her high school years, she studied ballet and contemporary at Ballet Nova Center for Dance in Arlington, Virginia, under Nancie Woods, Paul Wegner, Shu-Chen Cuff, Carmen Perez, and Constance Walsh.  While training there, she performed solo roles in The Nutcracker, Les Sylphides, and Swan Lake Act II.  Maggie attended Ballet Magnificat’s summer dance intensives from 2009-2013.  She loved learning how to use dance to worship the Lord and was excited to see how dance could be used in ministry.  This led Maggie to join McLean Bible Church’s dance ministry, where she had many opportunities to perform in worship services.  After graduating high school in 2013, she joined the Ballet Magnificat! Trainee Program.  In May 2015, she performed with the Events Company in Villahermosa, Mexico. Maggie was promoted to Student Apprentice with the Alpha Company in August 2015.
