School Director
Brittany Bischoff was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. She trained at the Dallas Ballet Center under the direction of Brent and Judy Klopfenstein and performed as a company member with City Dance Theatre, now Dallas Ballet Company. As a company member, she performed in Sleeping Beauty, Swan Lake, Raymonda, and The Nutcracker. City Dance Theatre hosted dancers from New York City Ballet for a special event aptly named, “Bravo! Ballet” and Brittany was chosen to work with world renowned dancer and choreographer, Christopher Wheeldon, on the ballet Who Cares?, set to music by George Gershwin and choreographed by George Balanchine. Brittany also studied under Boston Ballet and Ballet Magnificat! in the summers. Upon graduation in 2002, Brittany was accepted into the Trainee Program with Ballet Magnificat! and joined the Omega Company in 2004. Dancing with Ballet Magnificat! as a Trainee and later an Omega Company member, she has performed in A Christmas Festival, Freedom, Prodigal's Journey, Savior, Ruth, Hiding Place, Christmas Dream, Before His Throne, Deliver Us, Unveiled Hope, Basic Instructions, and Snow Queen. While touring with the company, she performed extensively across the U.S. and internationally to The Netherlands, Czech Republic, Honduras, Belize, Israel, Germany, Macedonia, Poland, France, Italy, Kosovo, Slovakia, and Canada. Brittany has taught master classes throughout the U.S. as well as many of the countries she has been blessed to visit and also teaches at the annual Ballet Magnificat! Summer Dance Intensive. She was appointed the Assistant Artistic Director of Omega from 2009-2011. Brittany became the Director of the School of the Arts in August 2011 and finished her dancing career in December 2011. In July 2005, she married Stephen Bischoff who has traveled with the company on many of their international trips.
