Betrayal, love, dedication, sacrifice - The Scarlet Cord depicts the story of Rahab (portrayed by Kathy Thibodeaux), Communist party official Vladimir Ivanovich (John Vandervelde), a missionary couple and those pressed down by the iron fist of the Soviet government.
