Costume Mistress

Responsibilities:

• Management of the costume department

• Working under the Artistic Director to direct costume production from the inception to the finished product, including design, construction, fittings, and embellishments

• Construction and alterations

Qualifications:

• Commitment to the mission and values of Ballet Magnificat!

• Team-player attitude, flexible and able to collaborate well with others

• Ability to delegate and communicate with a team

• Organized and good with time management

• Expertise in sewing (experience with dance costuming is highly valuable)

• Experience making patterns/ garment design

• Creative
